  • 65GRAND is pleased to present Decoy, an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by the Chicago based artist Bob Jones. Decoy is Jones' second solo show with the gallery. The artist's work focuses on material (paint, wood, studio detritus) and the subtle, transformative process it goes through on its way to becoming art.

  • Like an alchemist, Jones seeks to raise base elements to a higher level of value, in this case to a work of art. Tempering this lofty ambition is the manner in which the works teeter on the brink of remaining merely a lump of waste.
